Haven't posted in a while, I know. Liza's the blog queen these days, but I just got the most hilarious message from Joli on my phone at work. Now, mind you, Joli is pretty phone savy-- she calls me, her uncles, aunts and grandparents all the time... but she's never really had to deal with voicemail before. It's a completely foreign and ridiculous concept to her.

The frustrated voice in the background is my lovely Liza, struggling to explain voicemail to a three year old. Hilarious.

Hey! I wasn't frustrated! It was hilarous! I was just doing my best not to laugh hysterically. Joli is awesome! It was so funny trying to soothe her and let her know that Daddy was not ignoring her but rather it was this crazy thing called "messages." yeah--we should have these voice files on more often. and while you're at it, why not some youtubes? I was on youtube and found a post called talusan kids dancing, but alas, it wasn't anyone i knew. . .

Joli is insanely logical. I was baffled by how fast she listened to Liza's comments, applied the ones that made sense, disregarded the ones that didn't seem to make sense, and flipped the script on Liza at the end. Marvelous.

SOOO funny. Been through a similar experience with Maddie. But Joli's logical brain, like Pedro said, is impressive. She gets it! Why talk to him if he isn't going to answer? Lesson learned!
